Hôtel de Glace, near Quebec City, is North America’s famous ice hotel. It opens each winter from January to March and is rebuilt every season, with new designs carved into the walls, furniture and sculptures.

Besides the rooms, the hotel has an ice bar and an ice chapel, and some couples even choose to get married there. A visit here is an easy way to experience a true Canadian winter without travelling far from a major city.
