Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel

Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel in Alta, Norway, is the northernmost igloo hotel in the world. It stands on the bank of the Alta River in Arctic Norway and is built again every winter from snow and ice.

The rooms, the bar and the chapel are decorated with ice sculptures, and guests sleep in warm sleeping bags right inside the igloo. Being this far north also means long winter nights, which makes it a great place to look for the northern lights.
